BBC Children in Need is the BBC's UK corporate charity. National Baking Week sunshine fund

This year National Baking Week have worked together with teachers and advisors to create a great way for you to Bake and Share in the classroom. Constructed to fit easily into the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum, the downloadable comprehensive teaching pack comes complete with teachers notes, lesson plans, all resources and PowerPoint presentations to be used in class. You can download the comprehensive teaching pack, as soon as you have signed up and received your password by email (this should come almost immediately).

Potatoes for Schools offers a valuable learning experience where you can find out where potatoes come from, how they grow, what you can do with them and how they can make primary learning an exciting experience.
Get some real hands-on experience by taking part in the Grow Your Own Potatoes project. There are 12 000 free growing kits available for primary schools, containing Vales Emerald and Rocket seed potatoes as well as other goodies and the chance to win prizes if you want to compete to grow the heaviest weight of potatoes. This year 12,000 primary school teachers took part so make sure you register now for 2010. The registration deadline is Friday 5th February 2010.
